Dr. Kyley Hunt, ND is excited to be back in her hometown of Calgary to offer those in her community a natural choice in their healthcare. She graduated with a Bachelor of Kinesiology from the University of Calgary, prior to studying at the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine. While studying at Boucher, she had the opportunity to volunteer in Nicaragua on a 10 day Global Health Course brigade with several of her classmates. During her final year she gained experience working with families at the Family Medicine Clinic in Victoria, a not-for-profit clinic which provided naturopathic care to low income families. Upon completion of her studies and licensing she worked as a volunteer ND with Natural Doctors International in Ometepe, Nicaragua. During her time in Nicaragua, Dr. Kyley attended over 3000 patients, helped run Global Health Courses, worked alongside nurses, MD’s and other health professionals in a clinical and hospital setting and participated in several community projects including an ultramarathon and a women’s health program called DIOSA.
Dr. Kyley speaks three languages (English, Spanish and French) and has additional training in intravenous vitamin therapy, neural therapy and prolotherapy. She is also a Bowen Therapist and has training in acupuncture. She focuses on educating and empowering the individual to take an active role in their health and in looking at a whole person solution to their health needs. She has special interest in women’s and family health, sports and athletic performance, digestive issues, anxiety and emotional concerns.
Dr. Kyley believes in an active lifestyle to help promote and maintain health and balance. She works to model this through running and various sports, as well as by being active in her community through various volunteer activities both locally and globally. She is a member in good standing of the College of Naturopathic Physicians of British Columbia (CNPBC) and a member of the Canadian Association of Naturopathic (CAND) and the College of Naturopathic Doctors of Alberta (CNDA).
Currently Dr. Kyley is practicing out of Grassroots Naturopathic Medicine located at 22-22 Richard Way, Calgary Alberta.
